Duke 9-1 and #6 in the country.

"Dad, whats wrong with his legs, why is he running like that?" My son's take on Trent Cole highstepping an interception return into the endzone.

I guess its about time for a new post...

Lets see... Basketball starts soon for C, which is gonna, let him burn off some energy. He's doing good in school as usual. K is almost a year old now, and is just about walking. Baby Z is on the way due at the end of April. And we are all doing pretty good.

I have to start painting the master bedroom tonight, oh boy fun.

Can't wait for Duke Basketball to start, 4 more days I think... also 4 more days til the Phils can start their pursuit of Soriano. I am not sure whats more important... might be Soriano!

All Star

First all star appearance... they finished 4th in a 10 team tourney... not bad considering half of the other teams were a year or two older.

What will they think of next??

Turns out stitches are not always a necessary evil (evil in my world because I hate needles and anything else that remotely resembles them). They can glue you back together now. Theres something called dermabond, which you can get instead of stitches if you stop bleeding fast enough. And in the case of my super healing knee, I got the glue. Woohoo. No stitches. Although I did have to get a tetnus shot... I guess you can't win them all... but at least I didn't have to get sewn up.

Rollover Risk?

Well two things are new here at 5 months for the little one. She's now like a SUV... a rollover risk... she rolled back to front this morning (of course we all missed it) when the big brother took his eyes off the cartoons, he noticed she was on her tummy. But still cool. (The front to back rollover has been going on for quite a while). The other new thing is teeth... they are coming and coming soon... we can see the teeth through the gums now, its probably gonna be soon and we'll have a couple of TicTac looking teeth in there. So the big brother is losing them, and the baby is getting them. Fun. And don't mess with her!

Same ole Phils

Phillies are up to their usual tricks again. Scored 5 gave up a helluva lot more then 5. Hopefully they can show signs of life sooner rather then later.

Another Sad Duke Fan

Go Duke!

As the tourney starts today, I feel it necessary to just toss a little go Duke up here... ACC champs... hopefully soon to be NCAA champs.

GO DUKE!!!

Must beat UNC Saturday

This must be a W. GO DUKE!

Thursday, March 02, 2006

Say it ain't so...

Oh well... it was good while it lasted. At least Duke won't roll into the tournament on one of those 15-20 game win streaks, because that always ends badly. A wake up call at the beginning of March could be a good thing...

Monday, February 27, 2006

and by the way...

Still #1.

Temple....

Got to watch virtually the whole game on Saturday. My wife was taking down border and I was occupying the baby. Worked out good... the little one passed out for a nap right before the game started, so I was parked on the couch holding the baby and watching the game. Nice. Hopefully JJ can start shooting the ball better now that he (finally) took over the all time ACC scoring lead... no more pressure. Oh and by the way Temple sucks, Cheney should hang it up and Ingram is a thug.
